About tuan le
Bio
I am not a politician! I have a very diverse background with
knowledge in multiple fields. I am an aerospace engineer, water and wastewater
engineer, IT and cyber security analyst, and an entrepreneur in the fields of
real estate, hospitality and technology. I am running for congress to use
my knowledge to serve my country.
I grew up in Pine Hills, right here in Orlando. Some refer to it
as "Crime Hills" due to its high crime rate and low income. I
attended Carver Middle School and graduated from Evans High School, considered
two of the worst academically rated schools in Orlando. I understand the need
to reduce the crime rate, increase economic and help others succeed
academically. Excelling from an academically low rated school to get to where I
am today was a challenge. I have experiential solutions to help our education
system and including our teachers.
I had my first job at 12 years-old picking up trash to help
support my family. During my high school years, I worked repairing electronics
as a technician. I worked throughout my college years as a computer IT
Technician, and assisted UCF in the development of online program for college
of Engineering.
My experience includes:
· 2007 – Graduated from UCF with
BS degree in Electrical Engineering
· 2007 - Field Engineer and
Systems Engineer at Emerson Electric in the Water and Wastewater department.
· 2009 Kennedy Space Center (KSC)
supporting NASA on the SLS program as an Electrical Engineer.
· 2011 - Emerson Electric as an
Application System's Engineer for the oil and gas industry.
· 2012 - KSC support NASA as a
Controls Automation Lab Manager, Software Engineer, IT, and Network
Infrastructure and Cyber Security Analyst.
· While at KSC - Construction and
real estate investments.
· 2015 Graduated with MBA at
Strayer University
· 2017 - System's Facility
Engineer and Lab Development for the Fleet Ballistic Missile Program in
Lockheed Martin supporting our Navy.
· 2018 - started an engineering firm
· 2019 - Successfully restaurant business owner.
· 2020 - Investments in
commercial properties.
· 2020- Supported the City of
Titusville for two years as an environmental city council board advisor.
· 2020 - developed a mentorship
program to help 80 (eighty) students with twenty projects across our country to
build portfolio and experience for students during the Covid-19.
Now, I am running for congress because I believe that
knowledge and success doesn't come from where you start, comes from the journey
to reach your goal. With my diverse background and expertise, I know I can help
our state, our country moves in the right direction.
